In the Pays d’Evian Vallée d’Abondance, Nordic skiing has become one of the main winter activities in each of our resorts: La Chapelle d’Abondance, Abondance, Bernex and Thollon-les-Mémises!
In the same sectors you can also do Biathlon and snowshoeing.
With 9 cross-country skiing tracks (23km), La Chapelle d’Abondance and Châtel have the largest Nordic skiing domain in our area. Maintained daily, you will ski on quality slopes with both Nordic and classic cross-country skiing tracks. Whether you are a beginner or expert, there’s something for everyone!
As well as Nordic skiing, there is biathlon, ski orienteering, dog sledding and sledging slopes.
In Abondance, you have access to the Lake Plagnes domain, which in addition to Nordic skiing, offers dog sledding excursions and many snowshoeing itineraries.
On the edge of the village, far from the buzzing Alpine ski slopes, discover other ways of enjoying the winter landscape. Bernex has a lovely little Nordic ski area with 7.5km of cross-country skiing, some wonderful snowshoeing itineraries, a sledging slope and an ice-skating rink.
At the top of the cable car is a 6-km groomed track to ski towards the Pic des Mémises.
Thollon has a Nordic ski doman with a magnificent view across Lake Geneva. You can also go snowshoeing, sledging and also paragliding!
