The St Laurent village festival

    There is one day in the summer when the whole village and its guests come together to celebrate the village festival, “La Saint Laurent”, named after the patron saint of the parish.

    Programme:

    -10am: Mass in the church of St Laurent
    Following mass:
    – Procession through the village accompanied by the Harmonie l’Écho Alpin.
    – Blessing of the public.
    – Aperitif offered by the municipality in the church square, hosted by the Echo Alpin.

    Afternoon:
    – 3pm: parade of floats, musical groups and military vehicles from the 74th Company through the streets of the village.

    – 6.30pm-9pm: meal served in the Salle la Châtelaine

    – 9pm-1am: free dance in the church square.

    Traffic and car park

    During the procession which will take place from 11am to 11.30am, the traffic will be momentarily interrupted on the road to Thonon, the road to Vonnes and the road to the Center.

    During the parade of floats, traffic will be interrupted as follows:
    From 2.30pm to 6pm:
    ► On the route de Thonon, from the tourist office to the intersection with the route de la Béchigne
    ► On the route de Vonnes, from the tourist office and up to n°118 (after the Cinemas)
    ► On the route du Linga, from the tourist office and up to the intersection with the Chemin de l'Etringa
    ► On the route du Centre
    ► On the route du Petit-Chatel, from the intersection with the route du Centre to the route de Thonon.

    During the concert in the evening on the Place de l'Eglise, the traffic will be interrupted on the Route de Thonon, between the entrance of the underground car park and the Church, from 7pm to 1am.

    PARKING
    Parking will be prohibited on Sunday 06 August 2023, from 2pm to 7pm on the car parks located along:
    ► la route de Thonon, from the tourist office to the intersection with the route de la Béchigne
    ► la route de Vonnes, from the tourist office and up to n°232 (Mésière Sport)
    ► la route du linga, from the tourist office and up to the intersection with the Chemin de l'Etringa
    ► the route du Centre
    Inaccessible from 1pm to 7pm:
    ► the underground car park of the Church
    ► the Linga car park.

    Traffic to and from the Col de Morgins will be diverted via the Chemin des Ramines, the Aity forestry road, the route de Pré La Joux road and the route de la Dranse.
    The traffic of heavy goods vehicles, public transport as well as camping cars will be prohibited on this route.

    ► A detour will be set up via the Taude road with alternating traffic by traffic lights, to serve the route de Petit-Châtel, route du Boude and Super Châtel gondola.
