For the more seasoned cyclist, the Tour du Léman is the reward for a little effort, with the spectacle of breathtakingly beautiful scenery. The route presented is on the Haute-Savoie section. The complete tour is 200 km long.

The Tour du Lac Léman is a Franco-Swiss route. It crosses the cantons of Geneva, Vaud and Valais and the departments of Ain and Haute-Savoie, while staying as close as possible to the shore. It follows the Via Rhôna route to the north and south. It is advisable to follow the lake in a clockwise direction.
In Haute-Savoie, the route runs along the Chablais haut-savoyard for more than 60km.
From Saint-Gingolph to Thonon, the route along the busy lakeside road is for experienced cyclists only. But it offers beautiful, unobstructed views of the nearby lake and passes through typical villages such as Meillerie and its priory, and Lugrin. Sections of the Greenway have been developed and/or are being developed for less experienced cyclists who would like to take a leisurely stroll along the lake. You can find these sections on the Savoie Mont Blanc 2020 map.
In Evian, a stopover is a must to discover this magnificent water city. From Thonon, the route follows the Lake Geneva peninsula. As a family, we recommend a cycle ride between Yvoire and Messery. A succession of cycle paths and small roads will take you on a discovery tour of the villages of the Bas-Chablais: the village of Yvoire, known as “the pearl of Lake Geneva”, the large beach at Excenevex, the Château de Ripaille with its towers, park and vineyards, and Nernier, a medieval hamlet that has retained all its soul as an old fishing village.
